Before You...
…admit something feels wrong.
…convince yourself it’s “just a rough patch.”
…tell yourself you’re expecting too much.
…lose another night’s sleep wondering, “How did we get here?”
…search Google for “Is my marriage over?”
…watch another YouTube video looking for answers.
…let one more TikTok influencer convince you they’re right.
…spiral down another Reddit rabbit hole.
…believe every seemingly happy photo you see on Instagram.
…compare your marriage to everyone else’s on Facebook.
…lock yourself in the bathroom sobbing.
…spend another sleepless night replaying every conversation.
…convince yourself you’re impossible to love.
…decide it’s all your fault.
…decide it’s all their fault.
…assume you know what really happened.
…stop asking questions.
…believe the lies you’re being told.
…make assumptions.
…lose hope.
…react.
…snap.
…say something you can’t take back.
…send that late-night text.
…make threats you’re sure to regret.
…check their phone.
…search their browser history.
…tell your friends every painful detail.
…post something you’ll wish others didn’t see.
…let fear make the decision.
…feed your emotions with that pint of ice cream.
…dilute your tears with alcohol.
…have an affair.
…stay “for the kids.”
…assume divorce is the only answer.
…move out.
…tell the kids.
…hire an attorney.
…sign anything.
…sign papers you don’t fully understand.
…agree to something that doesn’t feel right.
…say yes because you feel pressured.
…make a permanent decision based on a temporary emotion.
…let someone else’s story become your own.
…let your family dictate what you should do.
…get hooked on another false story.
…believe you’re the only one who feels this way.
…believe you have to figure it all out alone.
…stop believing things can get better.
…settle for less than you deserve.
…give up on love.
…give up on yourself.
…close the door on what’s possible.
…make one of the biggest decisions of your life…

You’ll hear from divorce attorneys, therapists, financial experts, mediators, parenting specialists, and everyday parents with powerful stories to tell and lessons to share.

Because divorce doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
Your health impacts your decisions.
Your finances affect your options.
Your beliefs shape your relationships.
And every conversation has the potential to reveal another piece of the puzzle, helping you better understand not only your situation, but yourself and the people you love.
Finding Clarity in the noise
When I went through my own divorce, I discovered something frustrating.
There is no shortage of advice.
Friends and family had advice. Social media had advice.
Strangers had advice. Different experts had different advice.
And while much of that advice was well-intentioned, it was often filtered through someone else’s experiences, fears, beliefs, biases, assumptions, or one-size-fits-all thinking.
It’s no wonder why I rejected a lot of it.

I often found myself wondering: How can anyone really know what’s right for me without living in my shoes?
Over the years, I’ve seen the same thing happen with many of my friends, clients and acquaintances.
A short social media post, a viral video, or a well-meaning family member can sometimes leave people feeling more fearful, more confused, or more certain about conclusions they haven’t fully explored.
Advice often points you toward someone else’s answer. Information helps you discover your own.
The reality is that divorce is rarely simple.
For many moms, one of the first questions they find themselves asking is, “How did we get here?”
It’s a natural question. When we’re in crisis, our brains search for explanations. We want to make sense of what happened, understand what we may have missed, and identify the factors that brought us to this moment.
While every relationship is unique, there are often common patterns, themes, and dynamics worth exploring. Some may feel immediately familiar. Others may challenge long-held assumptions or introduce entirely new ways of thinking.
The challenge is that sometimes our search for answers can become so consuming that it keeps us stuck—analyzing the past instead of thoughtfully considering the future.
That’s one of the reasons I created
My goal isn’t to tell you what decision to make.
It’s not to convince you to fight for your marriage.
And it’s not to encourage you to walk away.
Together, we’ll explore the known and unknown facets of marriage, divorce, child development, relationships, decision-making, health and wellness, and personal growth. Some conversations may validate what you’ve already suspected. Others may introduce ideas you’ve never considered before.
You don’t have to agree with every guest.
In fact, some of the most valuable insights come from perspectives that challenge our own.
Because the most important decisions of your life deserve more than sound bites.
They deserve curiosity. Nuance. Perspective.
I believe smart decisions start with greater awareness.
And greater awareness starts with better conversations.
